The rest of the group can stay safetly at range and take him down. If you touch the orbs you absorb them and they will not reach Kierax. The one or two people who jump need to keep bouncing up and down into the orbs. If you walk on the sloped part, you will fall through and die. Once you hit the void you will be thrown back up into the air. You will notice the grateing slopes down to the void, you need to run and jump before you hit the slope. Kierax is also rooted to the spot and cannot be moved.Īt this point, one, or more ideally two, of your group needs to take a leap of faith! When these reach Kierax he will hit the whole group with a huge, zonewide, aoe. Kierax is floating above a huge void which is surrounded by a metal grating.Įnergy orbs appear from the columns toward the corners of the room. When you enter his room, he will emote a bit (and sound very much like a Power ranger ) and then become attackable. This is a mob unlike any other you will have encountered in Eq2 The next room contains Kierax the Energy Wielder (Through tunnels, there are a 3 pairs of fixed mobs and a wanderer in the tunnels leading through) As with the other Nightblood-types, he will emote before using this. He does have a large, aoe, kickback to be carefull of though. This named is a straight forward hit-him-until-dead mob. Kill all of the Void Ravagers in the room and a named (The Proto-Ravager)will spawn in the lake. There are several groups of 3 void-ghost type creatures, several Void Ravagers and some Troll bodies on the floor.īe carefull of the Troll bodies, if you get to close they will jump up and attack you. The second room is a mini-jungle, surrounding a lake. Once the room is clear, the unattackable NPC will run into the next room. Before they use this they will emote somethign like ‘Guarghhh’ ). Standing in front of the Doorway is an unattackable NPC and 2 nightblood-type void creatures (these, like all of the nightblood-types in the zone have a huge, aoe, kickback. The first room in the zone has many groups of heroic mobs.Īt the far end is a doorway. The begining, solo, parts of these quests take 20-30 minutes to complete. Quests to get before entering : The first group part of the Shadow Odyssey signature quest requires you to enter this zone. There is a double-shard mission sometimes available Shard Mission : there are no daily Shard missions for The void Instances (devs have stated missions for these zones will be added soon) Location : Moors of Ykesha, South-East of The Landing Zones
